An ecommerce website that keeps more of what you make
We build online shops and ordering for Western Cape small businesses - South African payment gateways, delivery and collection flows, and no per-order commission. Built on your own domain, in your own name.

The problem
You're either not selling online at all, or a slice of every order is going to a marketplace or delivery app before it reaches you. Your current site doesn't have ordering built in, or the ordering system you tried was clunky, didn't work on phones, and customers gave up halfway through. You need something that fits how your business actually works - collection, delivery, or both - without the ongoing commission.
Do the maths
What does "no commission" actually save you?
Drag the sliders to roughly your numbers. This is what a marketplace or delivery app keeps every year - and what stays in your business when customers order on your own website.
Marketplaces and delivery apps typically charge 20-35%.
On your own website, this pays for itself in
~
After that, a month stays in your business instead of going out in commission ( a year).
The build is From R30,000, paid once. No percentage of anything, ever.
Do the real numbers with usIllustrative only - commission rates vary by platform and plan. We will work through your actual numbers on the call.
What we build
A complete online shop or ordering system that fits your business. For restaurants and takeaways, that means ordering integrated into your website - no third-party fees, phone-friendly, with collection and delivery options. For product businesses, that means a proper shop with SA payment gateways and the logistics to match. We've built ordering systems that handle kitchen queues, capacity throttling at peak, and abandoned cart recovery. We've built ecommerce platforms with wholesale pricing, courier integration, and accounting sync.
No per-order commission
Sell through a marketplace or delivery app and a slice of every order goes to someone else. Your shop runs on your own website: the price your customer pays is money your business keeps, minus only the standard payment processing fee.
South African payment gateways
PayFast, Yoco, iKhokha, SnapScan, Zapper - we set up the gateways your customers already know and trust, settled in rand straight to your bank account.
You own every part of it
Your store, your domain, your hosting - all registered in your name, not ours. If we part ways tomorrow, you keep everything and lose nothing.
Proof
Eat Out the Box, Cape Town
Their old site was slow, hard to use on a phone, and online ordering was clunky. Today, orders land on a kitchen board that throttles itself at peak, the front desk runs with one person, and the till talks to the website talks to the kitchen - all with no per-order commission.
What's included
- Custom online ordering or shop, integrated into your website
- South African payment gateways - PayFast, Yoco, iKhokha, SnapScan, Zapper
- Mobile-friendly checkout that works on any device

Not included
Product photography, content writing for large catalogues, custom courier or ERP integrations (scoped and quoted separately), ongoing maintenance after launch (covered by the standard Care Plan at R3,000/month).
Why not just take the cheapest quote?
You can get an online shop built for less - and for some businesses that's genuinely the right call. But most bargain builds cost twice: once when you pay for them, and again when you replace them 18 months later. Here's the honest difference between the cheap version and the base we build.
What the bargain build usually gets you
- A template with your logo dropped in, built around the template rather than your business
- Hosting and domain registered in the developer's name - you rent your own shop
- One payment option, configured once and never tested on a real phone
- Slow pages that frustrate customers and get quietly buried by Google
- Changes made straight on the live site, with no staging and no way back
- A rebuild bill in 18-24 months when it can no longer grow with you
What the Moducraft base gives you
- A shop designed around how your business actually works - products, delivery, and all
- Domain, hosting, and store registered in your name from day one
- PayFast, Yoco, iKhokha, SnapScan, and Zapper, set up properly and settled in rand
- Pages built to load in under 2 seconds, with the SEO foundations in place
- Built on staging, tested end to end, then launched
- A base that grows with you - add features later instead of starting over
And if a cheaper option genuinely fits your business better, we'll tell you so on the call. We'd rather be believed than paid once.
Who this is for

A new online shop starts at R30,000 once-off. If you already have a website that works, we can add a shop to it from R9,500. Either way, we scope and price before we start - the number we agree is the number you pay.
No. Once your shop is live, we take nothing per order. The only per-transaction cost is the payment gateway's standard processing fee, which goes to the gateway, not to us.
PayFast, Yoco, iKhokha, SnapScan, and Zapper - whichever fit your business and your customers. All of them settle in rand directly to your own bank account.
Yes. If your current site works and you just want to start selling, we add a shop to it from R9,500 - built on a staging copy first, then launched without breaking what's already there.
You do. The store, the domain, the hosting account - everything is registered in your name from day one. We hand over full access at launch, with a training video so your team can run it.
Our standard Care Plan at R3,000/month covers hosting management, updates, security patches, monitoring, and three hours of ad-hoc changes. It's optional - the shop is yours either way.
